The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9 decided to kick it up for 2017, and the fight between Kandi and Phaedra went from a simmer to a rolling boil. But how did RHOA do that? By bringing up one of the show's oldest rumors: was Phaedra cheating on Apollo with Mr. Chocolate? According to Kandi, Phaedra was planning to get married right after Apollo went to prison. According to Porsha, that's accusing her former friend of being unfaithful to her husband. Kandi, though, will not back down, and seems very confident in her accusation: according to her statement on the show, Phaedra was "talking to another guy before he [Apollo] went away," and even Porsha knew about it.

Of course, Kandi wasn't able to offer any proof about this, and Phaedra wasn't even in the room when it was brought up. But as the show happily pointed out with the use of older footage from previous seasons, Apollo claimed he found evidence of the same thing in Phaedra's text messages, and Kenya spent the better part of two seasons searching for evidence of Mr. Chocolate with no success.

Mama Joyce was happy to hear that Kandi had confronted Phaedra, and she warned Parks to steer clear of the Burruss-Tucker family or face the consequences. The implication of what Mama Joyce is talking about it enough to make Baby Ace start crying, and Kandi change the subject to her daughter, Riley, and her father. Block is still trying to meet up with his estranged daughter, despite her disinterest. Riley met up with her father for the first time in a long time, on the recommendation of Todd's daughter, who grew up estranged from him. After her initial anger, Kandi is trying to be more accommodating of Block's desire to talk to his daughter.

But that's the only area where Kandi seems willing to be forgiving — given that her fighting with Phaedra seems to only be getting more intense with time on this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
