The BET Awards is annually packed with wall-to-wall performances. From Bruno Mars amazing opening number to the showstopping New Edition tribute, the June 25 show has been rocking since 8 p.m. However, there was one performer who kept the audience thoroughly entertained and scratching their heads at the same time. But was R&B chanteuse Tamar Braxton lip-syncing at the BET Awards? Fans online are suspicious about the performance. Bustle has reached out to Braxton's representation for comment but has not yet received a response.

It's an understandable concern. After all, singing live on stage isn't always a guarantee. If you want to listen to a musician sing, then pick up their album. If you want to see a show-stopping performance, then you need to accept that sometimes the performers might be too busy putting on the show to sing live. Not every performer, of course, but some of them understandably choose a pre-recorded track.

The former co-host of The Real seemingly belted out her new single, "My Man," for an enraptured audience. Braxton vigorously shook her platinum blonde wig down to the floor while delivering note after note. But Twitter doesn't seem to think she was giving us the real deal. Take a look at her performance and judge for yourself, then check out what some skeptical Tamartians think about their diva's wig-snatching showcase tonight:
