James Corden's Wife Has Worked In TV, Too

Ever since he took over for Craig Ferguson on The Late Late Show, James Corden has become a staple in late night entertainment. He has won over American audiences with his signature English wit, and, of course, his now-infamous Carpool Karaoke, which has gotten love from tons of huge stars in Hollywood. While his public career is doing incredibly well, his private life is also flourishing, and Corden has his wife, Julia Carey, to thank for that. The couple have two young children, Max and Carey, but aside from being married to a television star and being a mother, what does Corden's wife do?

The couple have been married since 2012 and were first spotted together in 2010. At the time, a source told the Daily Mail of Carey,

"Things are going really well. James seems really happy again. Julia works in TV so she doesn't think it's a big deal that James is a star. She just likes him for who he is."

According to The Evening Standard, Carey and Corden were introduced by actor Dominic Cooper, who said Carey was an old school friend of his. As the Daily Mail reported, Carey has been credited as a television producer, though it seems like she may have moved on to other interests since then.

Carey is also noted to be very charitable. An article in the Sunday Express in 2012 wrote of Carey's past jobs that she's "worked as a TV producer and for the charity Save The Children." According to The Independent, she did PR for the organization.

Corden also shared a tidbit about how they met with The Mirror, citing a fundraiser for the charity. He said,

"My mate Dominic Cooper dragged me to this Save The Children ­fundraiser. My first thought was that she was beautiful...The most refreshing thing is that she had never seen Gavin and Stacey or anything I had done ­before."

While it's not entirely clear what exactly Carey does now, she has a varied past when it comes to her work and has worked in at least two very interesting areas. As for her family with Corden, they seem to be happy and, really, that's all that matters.
