Cloud Paint Is Glossier's Take On Blush

Glossier often takes to social media to debut new products. But the beloved minimalist skincare and makeup brand, which has built up such a loyal legion of fans, customers, and devotees, opted to use a different platform to roll out the new Glossier Cloud Paint. The new color product was launched at the 2017 Academy Awards, according to Women's Wear Daily. A-listers like Chrissy Teigen and Taraji P. Henson were said to be wearing the blush courtesy of their makeup artists. OMG, you guys. So, what, exactly is Glossier's Cloud Paint?

UPDATE: Glossier confirmed to Bustle that Cloud Paints launch on Mar. 2.

Well, it's a "new way to blush," per the landing page on the Glossier site. You can sign up for email updates so you can be notified when it goes on sale.

WWD reports that Cloud Paint — even the name sounds dreamy and divine— is a gel x cream blush hybrid that will come in four shades.

Brand founder and Glossier fearless leader Emily Weiss told the publication that the Glossier faithful has been asking the brand to make sunscreen and blush, in that order. The exact launch date of the Cloud Paints is TBD and the sunscreen will also launch later this year!

OK, so who's hyperventilating? Use your hands to fan your face and to calm down!!!

The Glossier Cloud Paints come in squeeze tubes. You can see the shades, based on the color-matched caps, behind the veil of the Glossier pink bubble wrap packaging in this Insta pic.

Weiss also told WWD that the Cloud Paints are inspired by NYC sunsets. The shades are as follows: Puff (light pink), Haze (berry), Beam (coral peach), and Dusk (brownish nude). She also said fingers are the best tools for applying the Cloud Paint.
