Whether or not it's actually true, I would like to pretend that spring is almost upon us. Luckily, Pixi by Petra's spring collection just launched and it features plenty of pretty products that are perfect for warmer weather, all created by some of the biggest social media influencers.
Petra Strand, the creator of Pixi Beauty, tasked four influencers with creating a few items that are essentially their dream products, whether they are skincare related or their ideal eyeshadow combos. The four influencers that Pixi worked with were Caroline Hirons, Judy Travis, Maryam Maquillage, and Aspyn Ovard.
Caroline Hirons, one of the bloggers who arguable popularized the idea of double cleansing, decided to create a two-part cleanser for Pixi — one half is a solid cleansing oil and the other half is a cleansing cream. Hirons is constantly promoting double cleansing, so she jumped at the opportunity to create her own for the brand.
Judy Travis, aka ItsJudyTime on YouTube, created an eyeshadow palette and a lip palette for Pixi, aptly named ItsEyeTime and ItsLipTime. Travis wanted to create palettes with options since she is always traveling and prefers to carry around the least amount of products possible. The shades in both palettes are totally wearable for day or night.
Because palettes are such a hit, Maryam Maquillage also decided to create two strobing products for the brand, one that focuses on sculpting and one that focuses on a sun-kissed bronze look. The palettes also come with an accompanying brush.
And then, Aspyn Ovard, who is less of a beauty blogger and more of a lifestyle blogger, created minimalist makeup for Pixi, specifically three cheek powders, a clear brow gel and a mascara for the lower lash line, since she generally prefers a natural look.
The products are all limited edition, so if you fall in love with them, you're going to have to stock up before they disappear. Pixi products are sold online and at Target.
