Where Is Chrissy Teigen on New Year's Eve 2017? She & John Legend Could Be Celebrating Together
The year 2017 is nearly here, but let's remember that 2016 was a banner year for Chrissy Teigen. The model/host/all-around awesome person became a mom to adorable daughter Luna with husband John Legend. The crooner was set to perform on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on Saturday night, but where is Chrissy Teigen on New Year's Eve 2017? Update: Legend performed the song "Love Me Now" during his pre-recorded Los Angeles performance on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve and Teigen did not make an appearance on the show.
Earlier: She hasn't made an appearance on the venerable ABC New Year's special just yet, but judging by her tweets, Teigen is currently with Legend — and she has found time for a political statement as well.
"Confirm or deny I just bust open your bathroom door and did the Soulja Boy Challenge on your a**," Teigen tweeted on her Twitter account, referring to the new internet trend on social media. Wherever Teigen, Legend, and Luna are on Saturday night, it sounds like they are having a super fun time as they ring in 2017. The Los Angeles segments on Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve, hosted by Fergie, were taped in advance, so Legend isn't performing live on Saturday night, but perhaps he, Teigen, and Luna are watching together.
Teigen also found the time to make a political tweet as well, posting two images: One of President-elect Donald Trump's response to a question about former President Abraham Lincoln and an image of Michael Scott from NBC's The Office as a response to the quote.
The always insightful Teigen may show some love regarding her husband's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve performance, but for now, I hope she and her family are having lovely New Year's Eve — their first as a family and Luna's first, as well.
Her recent Instagram photos with her baby have been absolutely adorable, featuring both herself and Legend making Luna smile in sunny weather.
And here's hoping Luna is smiling into the new year.
