Converse's New Millennial Pink Sneaker Was Made By One Of The Coolest Rappers

Converse

Converse, the all-American classic brand, never disappoints, thanks to their minimal aesthetic that's lived on since its founding in the early 1900s. While their collaborations always bring something new, there's always a familiar feeling to them. The Tyler, The Creator for Converse x Golf Le Fleur collection is the perfect exaple of that, mixing classic silhouettes with playful, pastel colors.

In four different colorways, Airway Blue, Sulphur, Fuschia Glow, and Peach Pearl, the color affectionately called "millennial pink" that's taking over practically every brand out there, whether it's beauty (Hi, Glossier), clothing, or packaging as a whole. There's probably a reason that millennials' favorite color happens to look like rosé...

Each of the four colors also display a flower stitching paired with the classic star logo. Golf le Fleur comes in with a logo on the shoe's tongue and some art on the outsole and sock liner.

The coolest part? Tyler, The Creator inputted a secret message inside the shoe, reading "Don't let 'em kill your flowers, water your garden and stunt." A Good piece of advice and killer kicks? Yeah, fans are going to love this one.

With the tennis shoe taking over the style world, from the runway to the streets, it's no wonder people are ditching their heels and sandals for a comfy, stylish pair. And this collaboration definitely doesn't disappoint, especially for those who love their millennial pink.

These babies retail for $100 at Converse stores and online at converse.com. They may be sold out online right now, but you can always try your luck in-store and hope there's a restock.

Along with the playful sneakers, the collection also features hoodies and graphic tees, so you can get your Tyler, The Creator style on your back, too, with pieces ranging from $30 to $90.

When it comes to a classic shoe with a touch of personality, Converse always comes in clutch. And, with so many white sneakers that all end up looking the same, it's always fun to go with an unexpected color to give your look a bit of a pop. The next time you're on a hunt for a new sneaker, this one's got to be at the top of your list.
