Did you hear the news regarding the next season of The Bachelor? It was announced Thursday that Arie Luyendyk Jr. is the next Bachelor. You probably haven't heard that name in awhile, which is totally understandable. He was a contestant on Season 8 of The Bachelorette with Emily Maynard, which aired in 2012. Since this choice is such a blast from the past, you might be wondering where you can refresh your memory and watch Arie on his season of The Bachelorette.

Unfortunately, the now 35-year-old's season isn't available just yet on Netflix or Hulu, but you can watch him on Amazon Prime. If you're not a subscriber, you can pay $1.99 per episode or purchase the entire season for $13.99. You can also watch the season on YouTube for $13.99 or pay $1.99 for each episode. Season 8 is even available for download on iTunes, which will cost you the same price as if you were to watch it on Amazon or YouTube. You can also head on over to Vudu, where you can rent an episode for $1.99.

According to Bachelor producer Robert Mills, Arie's season will also soon be available online for everyone to enjoy. As Mills tweeted Thursday, "Don't know @ariej? We're putting his season of #TheBachlorette online and @juliacunningham and I will be recapping it Tuesdays on @EWLive."

Obviously, Arie didn't win Emily's heart in Season 8, but he did make it pretty far by earning the runner-up spot. Despite being a fan-favorite, the race car driver lost the final rose to Jef Holm (he and Emily ended their engagement in October 2012).

While appearing on Good Morning America Thursday, Arie said about his Bachelor status, "I'll be 36 in a few weeks so for me it's time. All my friends around me have kids and are grown up, so for me I feel like I'm the last one of my friends to take that step. And my little brother got married, and he's 24."

Well, good luck to Arie during the process, because the ABC dating reality competition is always a whirlwind. Until his season airs (not until 2018), you can choose to relive his entire Bachelorette season or just search for clips, like this one above of when he and Emily toured Prague together.
