Nick & Danielle M. Hit A 'Bachelor' Snag

To me, it feels like this season of The Bachelor just started, like, yesterday, so it's kind of mind blowing that it's already time for Nick Viall to narrow his pool down to the four women he'll be going on hometown dates with next week. Unfortunately, that means that two of his remaining six had to go on Monday night's episode, and one of those women was Danielle M. So why did Nick send Danielle M. home on The Bachelor? They just weren't on the same page when it came to their feelings.

Danielle has been pretty low key all season long, and she has a very heartbreaking backstory — she hasn't been in love since her fiancé died of an overdose. But during a one-on-one date with Nick, he had to let her go, and it was pretty hard to watch. She finally got up the courage to let him know how intense her feelings were for him, and he just couldn't return them. He ended up telling her that the best thing for him to do was to send her home, and it was obvious she did not agree.

By the end, Danielle was crying, Nick was crying, but it didn't change anything.

The most brutal part of this breakup was that, beforehand, Danielle had admitted how important the hometown dates were to her, because she hadn't brought anyone home to meet her parents since her fiancé. With Nick, this was the first time she felt comfortable enough to introduce someone to her parents since then, and it definitely seemed crushing to her for it to not work out.

However, Danielle seems awesome, and you can't deny she has a good heart. The right guy is out there, even if he's not Nick.
