You don't have to be a devoted humanitarian to know that number of Giant Pandas aren't what they should be. Although they were officially taken off the endangered species list in 2016, that doesn't mean that they're necessarily safe. All it means is that their numbers have been brought back from the brink of extinction, but there's no guarantee that it will stay this way.
It's not easy keeping the panda species alive. Unlike humans who like to have sex a lot, pandas pretty much put the sex thing on the back burner in exchange for lounging and eating. Because of this, getting these little buggers to breed can be quite a feat. This is where Pornhub comes in to save the day, well, in their own way.
Since Thursday, March 16 is National Panda Day, Pornhub wants to get their viewers not just aware of the plight of the panda, but involved, too. Yes, Pornhub, along with being your one-stop site for all things porn-related, has a new philanthropic initiative and they want you to you join in on the fun "to raise money for the endangered species, and, more importantly, encourage fornication."
This isn't the first time that Pornhub has done something besides offering up thousands of porn videos from which to choose. In December of last year, Pornhub started selling their Adult Adult Coloring Book, where proceeds went to Housing Works, an organization that helps those affected by HIV and AIDS, and just last month, in February, the site launched The Pornhub Sexual Health Center, providing their viewers with advice on relationships, sexuality, and sexual health.
But back to pandas. If you want to help Pornhub's latest initiative in making the world a better place, here are the details.

Get Dressed Up In Panda Costumes
If you have a panda costume tucked away in your closet, here's your big chance to finally break it out and get some use out of it. Pornhub suggests dressing up in your panda costumes and then filming yourself having sex "panda style."

Paint Yourself As A Panda
Wait. You mean to tell me you don't have a panda costume on tap? Well then, this is where you get the big chance to show off your artistic ability by painting yourself so you look like a panda. Then, again, filming yourself and your partner (who should also be painted up as a panda) having sex — again, "panda style."

Upload Your Video
Once you've filmed your "panda style" video, upload it to Pornhub's "Panda Style" category. From there, scientists can use the videos to show the pandas how to have sex. Apparently, although this is total news to me, scientists and zookeepers use real porn to get pandas all hot and bothered and in the mood for sex, in the hopes of them breeding and, therefore, prolonging the species. (Yes, you read that correctly; no, you don't need more coffee; yes, pandas watch human porn.)

Why Pornhub Is Involved
Along with launching their Sexual Health Center, raising funds for Housing Works, the porn site has also been involved in spreading awareness about spaying and neutering pets, preservation of marine life, breast cancer and testicular cancer awareness, and worked with Christy Mack to create a limited edition line of clothing to support the fight against domestic violence. So, why wouldn't panda conservation be on the list, too?
Corey Price, Pornhub's VP, said in a press release:
"Pornhub is home to a bustling amateur community, featuring videos uploaded by our fans from across the world. We encourage them to don a panda costume, film themselves doing it ‘Panda Style’ and upload it onto Pornhub. Through this initiative we hope to not only generate quality content scientists and zookeepers can use to show pandas, but also raise adequate funds for a nonprofit organization to ensure the livelihood of the world’s giant panda population.”
