The ‘RHOBH’ May Not Have Seen The Last Of Eileen

When The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns for Season 8 on Dec. 19, there will be friend missing. Eileen Davidson has left the RHOBH cast, making room for brand new Housewife Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and an expanded role for Camille Grammer. But will Eileen ever come back to Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills like Camille did? It's possible, given the reason why she decided to leave the show.

Eileen announced in a statement to Bravo over the summer that she was choosing to leave her Housewife position, and the impetus behind her decision is pretty simple, albeit disappointing for fans of the soap star turned reality star. She has too many other jobs to balance right now. Eileen explained, "After a lot of careful thought, I've decided because of my crazy schedules at The Young And The Restless, as well as Days Of Our Lives, it's best for me and my family if I step away from being a Housewife for now," she said.

But since she's still tight with some of the ladies, she did leave the door open to the occasional cameo appearance. "But you never know, I might be popping in from time to time just to see what the ladies are up to," her statement continues. So she claims she won't totally disappear from the show, even though Eileen doesn't appear in the Season 8 teaser. She also hasn't posted many Instagram pictures with her now-former costars recently either, though she did wish her "partner in crime," Lisa Rinna, a happy birthday over the summer, right around the same time she announced that she would be leaving RHOBH — so their friendship was clearly unaffected by her choice to leave the show.

Erika Girardi also had nothing but kind things to say about her former costar and friend after the news broke that Eileen was leaving RHOBH. "I know that a lot of people are gonna miss Eileen," Erika said to The Daily Dish. "Eileen is one of the most understanding, kind, and giving human beings I've ever met -- and what you see on TV is what you get. She's lovely." So it certainly sounds as though Eileen still has plenty of fans in the Beverly Hills cast, even if her presence in the show's eighth season will be limited. And Eileen's tweet confirming that she'll be leaving the show full time received hundreds of positive responses from fans as well.

One person who doesn't seem to want to see Eileen return, however, is the RHOBH queen bee: Lisa Vanderpump. "It’s always good to have the cast kind of turn over a bit. It, you know, keeps it fresh," Lisa said at an event, according to Reality Tea. "Listen – I hope she’s successful in her future. She had a good time on the show, but I didn’t get on with her obviously, so I’ve gotta be honest." That's more than a little shady, so I guess we can assume that these two haven't improved their relationship in the wake of Eileen's announcement — it's safe to say that Eileen won't be getting any invitations to any Vanderpump events this season. So if she does appear, it will probably be alongside Erika Jayne or Lisa Rinna.

Unfortunately, there's no set date for if or when Eileen will make a cameo appearance on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, and unless she decides to retire one or both of her soap roles, she won't be rejoining the show full time anytime soon.
