Turns Out There Are Book Versions Of Your Favorite Hallmark Holiday Movies

Hallmark has just dropped an early holiday present for all of you who love to spend the months of November and December tucked away on the couch with a fuzzy blanket and a warm cup of tea. Hallmark Publishing is releasing four new holiday e-books inspired by their beloved movies. The book are all novelizations of the movies, with an added bonus: you get to find out what happens after the movie ends.If I had a crystal ball, I'd probably look into to find that the never-before-seen epilogues have a lot of babies in them.

The four books released this year are Journey Back to Christmas, out now, based on the channel's highest rated movie in 2016, Christmas in Homestead, out Oct. 24, Love You Like Christmas, out Oct. 30, and A Heavenly Christmas, out Nov. 7, based on the Hallmark Hall of Fame original movie.

But the Christmas miracles just keep on coming. If you've ever thought to yourself, "Ya know, I could definitely write a Hallmark-style rom-com about a single dad and a bakery owner in a small town in New England," you're in luck! Hallmark Publishing is currently seeking submissions for "sweet" romance novels and cozy mystery novels of about 65,000 through 85,000 words in length. The stories must celebrate friendship, family, and/or community ties, and must have a happy ending. If your submission is accepted, your book just might be the inspiration for an original movie on one of Hallmark's three channels, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries or Hallmark Drama.

To get the wheels of inspiration turning in your head, here are the details on three of the holiday books out this year:
