ModCloth Launches In-House Collection

by Julia Guerra

San Francisco based vintage-inspired retailer ModCloth is launching its first namesake collection this fall, and the anticipated line's lookbook is sure to provide you with all the style inspo you need for the upcoming season. August delivery will be available starting Thursday, and with 98 pieces to browse, I am positive there is a Modcloth original for everyone.

The retailer assures customers that their original label is sure to represent the best "quality, details, and designers." As if we expected any less! It's not often you come across a reasonably priced vintage-inspired clothing line, and when you are making a ModCloth purchase, you know that it's well worth the investment.

So what can you look forward to from ModCloth's in-house collection? You can expect to find a brilliant variety of patterns such as florals, polka dots, plaids and more guaranteed to spice up the average wardrobe. Products include pleated skirts, knee-length dresses, cardigans and blouses. Prices range from $34.99-$149.99, and I can vouch that each of these debuting products will make fabulous additions to your autumn wardrobe.

Personally I cannot wait to get my hands on the label's East Coast Tour red trench belted with a statement white bow. Step aside, Pretty Little Liars, there's about to be a new Red Coat in town.

Check out a few of my favorite looks from ModCloth's namesake collection below and start making your own wishlist so that when the line is available, you'll be prepared.

East Coast Tour in Rust, $99.99, ModCloth.com

This arguably surpasses Andie's white trench coach in The Devil Wears Prada and I kind of need to have it.

Simply Snuggly Cardigan in Forest, $69.99, ModCloth.com

Huge, warm sweaters are a must during the blustery fall afternoons. Accessorize with a fresh brew of pumpkin spice latte and you're good to go.

Archive Got The Power Dress, $99.99, ModCloth.com

As a college graduate with a degree in American Literature, I feel this dress is necessary in my closet.

Team Leader Top in Plum, $49.99, ModCloth.com

Never has there ever been so much perfection fused in one blouse. Not only is it classic, but it is an extremely versatile piece. Wear out to a fancy dinner with the fam, or pair with dress pants for a chic, professional office ensemble. You can never go wrong here.

Invitation Intrigue Skirt, $69.99, ModCloth.com

There are so many classic bottoms in this line, but this rose patterned skirt has to be my favorite. It is just the right length and the dark hue makes for a sophisticated piece.
