Everyone's favorite twitter user, model, and host Chrissy Teigen is basically perfect. She's irreverent, body positive, talented, and most of all, she's completely honest, but in the latest issue of Women's Health UK, she reveals some surprising facts about herself. According to E!, Chrissy Teigen admits she wants a bigger butt, that working out is required for her, and that she's gained eleven pounds working on her upcoming cookbook.
While I think Teigen is perfect, this isn't the first time she's talked about wanting a bigger bum. Back in May, she illustrated herself with a bigger tush for T Magazine, so her saying that it's the body part she wants changed is not a huge surprise. In her most recent interview with UK Women's Health though, Teigen says, "I would love to have a little fat on my sides so I can be sexy, curvy. I'd love a big butt. But I just can't get there." Personally, I think Teigen's body is plenty sexy, but I appreciate that she's open about her body insecurities — models, they're just like us! What I love most is how body positive she is about it all. Teigen has recently been in the news for her support of the #FreetheNipple campaign, as well as her openness about her stretch marks.
While many consider Teigen's body to be perfect, she openly admits that working out is basically a requirement. She says, "I used to take pride in the fact that I didn't have to work out, and then I hit that age where you have to. I want to drink champagne and have hearty dinners, so I would rather work out for an hour and be able to do what I want." Her decision to work out in order to stay healthy totally makes sense, especially if you follow her Instagram. Teigen makes no bones about her love of great food, and now, she is transferring her adoration into a cookbook, one that she says caused her to gain eleven pounds.
Regardless of her weight or her workout routine, Teigen is easily one of the coolest people in Hollywood. From her body positivity to her honesty about her life, Teigen isn't ashamed to be herself in an industry that can sometimes seem focused on putting forth an image rather than remaining true to who you are. The cover of her Women's Health UK has the star showing off her gorgeous curves in a body positive and honest display that we've gotten used to seeing from Teigen, and I hope she keeps being her truly badass self.
