On Monday, rumors began circulating (again) that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were divorcing after 17 years of marriage. Well, if you believed the reports and found yourself eating your feelings while crying on the couch, stop it right now, because the rumors are not true. According to a very passionate Facebook post shared by the Suicide Squad actor, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are not divorcing. Smith started out his post by writing, "Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness. (Because it's contagious) But, so many people have extended me their 'deepest condolences' that I figured - 'What the hell... I can be foolish, too!'"
Then, Smith bashed those split rumors quite bluntly. He wrote,
So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are... NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -) I promise you all - if I ever decide to divorce my Queen - I SWEAR I'll tell you myself! #Dumb People Should Have to Wear Scarlet D's.
There you have it, one of Hollywood's most beloved couples is not breaking up. Woohoo! It's time to rejoice that love is still somewhat alive in the entertainment world. Thank goodness! I don't know about you, but I don't know if my heart could have handled another celeb divorce.
