How Did Kendall Jenner & Nick Jonas Meet?

You might have heard that there might be a new power couple on the rise. Kendall Jenner and Nick Jonas are dating, according to multiple reports. Neither Jenner nor Jonas has officially confirmed the rumors yet, but that may be because they are reportedly taking their courtship slow and have not decided to become an official item just yet. Of course, this has not stopped fans from speculating about the pair. As we all know, the Internet doesn't need sleep, it needs answers. And one thing that fans and followers of this potential twosome might be wondering is how Kendall Jenner and Nick Jonas met.You may have heard that Jenner and Jonas were set up by Gigi Hadid, Jenner's model friend who is currently involved with Jonas' brother Joe. Reportedly, Hadid loves hanging out with Jenner so much that she thought this would be a great way for them to all spend time together on double dates and such. The setup reportedly happened just last month, and Hadid's matchmaking skills are now being put to the test as Jenner and Jonas are getting to know each other better through texting and flirting. What you might not know was that this setup by Hadid was actually a re-introduction. Though Jonas and Jenner had been apparently out of touch for some time, they have definitely met before — at least seven years ago to be exact. And luckily for us, there is evidence.

The year was 2008, and it was the day of the KIIS-FM's Wango Tango concert. A then 15-year-old Nick Jonas was performing alongside siblings Joe and Kevin with The Jonas Brothers onstage at the show.

Kendall Jenner (third from the left in the below photo) happened to attend the event. Then only 12, she was escorted by some well-known family members of hers.

At some point during the party, the two famous families happened to meet — and take a picture together, which is now immortalized online for all of time.

Interestingly enough, someone confessed to having a "crush" on Nick after the famous families mingled, but it wasn't Kendall! It was actually Kim Kardashian, if you can believe that. "We met the Jonas Brothers. Nick is so cute," the then-27-year-old told People backstage after the Wango Tango concert. Kardashian, who was dating Reggie Bush (remember that?), said, "I don't think Reggie will get mad because [Nick] is, like, 15. I really shouldn't say that he's cute. It's a little inappropriate! They're adorable."

Though Nick Jonas has obviously grown up since that fateful night, it certainly sounds like he and another member of the Kardashian clan are getting closer. We will have to stay tuned to see how things develop!
