Oh, here we go again. I naively hoped that Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer's argument about the two dresses Ramona may or may not have stolen when she appeared on Bethenny's talk show. But of course, there it was, rearing its ugly head right in the latter half of part two of The Real Housewives of New York City Season 7 reunion. And unfortunately, by the end of the fight, these two had resolved things just as much as when it started, which means not at all.
Andy Cohen — bless his heart — took his usual post as referee of Bethenny and Ramona went at it. Yet again, Ramona gave her version of the story first, saying that Pinot Grigio was spilled on the dress, so she was given another one, which she happened to really like, to take home with her. Everything seemed cool with Bethenny and her people, and she had no idea why there was a beef at all.
However, that is not at all how Bethenny saw things. She confirmed that Pinot Grigio was spilled on the dress, but when they offered Ramona a new one, she declined to take it. The next thing Bethenny knew, she was informed that Ramona ran off with the dress. Ramona apologized via text and said she made a mistake. When Bethenny's assistant went to retrieve the dress from Ramona, she acted like she wasn't home even though she could hear her in the bathroom. She even brought and left a new dress for Ramona as an apology for the first dress skirmish.
Bethenny was livid about the whole situation to which Ramona responded with by making up an excuse that the dress had been put in the trunk of her car and then fell out. Bethenny then called her out on the fact that she saw her wearing the dress in a photo posted on social media. Oh, Ramona. You should have known better that the Internet doesn't lie.
As usual, Ramona didn't own up to anything. So the only thing Bethenny could say to that was to give Ramona the nickname "Rinona Ryder," referencing that time actress Winona Ryder was arrested for shoplifting in 2001. Well, I'm glad they didn't quite make up here because then at least we got to have another witty line from Bethenny.
Shockingly, at the end of the episode, Bethenny actually kinda sorta seemed a tad convinced that Ramona had changed her tune this season of RHONY, which is a much better attitude than what she had during the majority of Season 7. However, Bethenny is still pretty pissed that Ramona spread that rumor about Bethenny cheating on her first husband, which Ramona — perhaps even more shockingly — owned up to and said she shouldn't have repeated the gossip that she heard.
OK, Bethenny. So you're definitely out two dresses. However, it sounds like you gained a little progress here. I don't know about you, but I'll take that.
