Jared Leto's Green Hair Is Gone, But We're Still Missing His Man Bun & Flowing Ombre Locks

PARIS, FRANCE - MARCH 07: Jared Leto attends the Paris Fashion Week Tasting Night with Galaxy featuring Brad Goreski, model Jessica Stam and Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics, Younghee Lee at Four Seasons Hotel George V on March 7, 2015 in Paris, France. Gasp! There's another celeb hair change you need to know about, and this one is a biggie! Jared Leto chopped off his green hair. That's right! The green 'do is gone, baby, gone. The Oscar winner and Thirty Seconds to Mars singer dyed his hair slime green, a color that Katy Perry has rocked, for his role as The Joker in Suicide Squad. But he didn't keep the colorful coif, since filming has wrapped. He is movin' on.

Leto didn't share a photo of his post-shorn look just yet. Instead, the multi-hyphenate merely posted an Instagram photo of the green strands in the sink, no longer perched atop of his handsome head. So it was a teaser of sorts.

The actor bid adieu to his formerly green strands in the cutest way ever. He said "Goodbye" and added a bunch of green emojis to mark the occasion. Leto's IG etiquette — or "Leto-quette!" — is pretty strong.

If you loved Leto's lime green locks, you can mourn their loss by letting your eyes drop down to the photo below. Me? I'm still longing for Leto's long-gone, Justin Bieber-copied man bun, which was his signature. I'm also missing his ombre locks and even his bleached blond, punk rock 'do.

Gasp! The green strands really are gone. A moment of strand silence, please.

Okay, I'm fine. I'm over it. Now, Jared, how about an Insta of your newest look?

Green hair, don't care!

The frontman looked the part of punk rocker when platinum. This was his Lagerfeld look.

As in "Like Karl." It was a drastic change from his long, oft-in-a-man-bun ombre style.

His mountain man look consisted of a beard and long hair. While it may have been disheveled and unkempt, I loved every inch of it.

This is what I call "ombre perfection!" I love how the golden ends played off his dark brown beard, which matched his roots. Leto's hair game really is unstoppable.

This slicked black blond look aged him a little. But Leto is still one of the hottest dudes on the planet.

The skully cap concealed all of his hair while showing off his amaze eyes.

That blessed man bun in all of its glory. I would co-sign it if Leto decided that it was time to bring it back.

Leto's long hair... so versatile! It goes with all sorts of hats.

One last look at the man bun! Should we start a petition to bring it back now that green hair is in Leto's rearview?
