Shawn & Kaitlyn Are Willing To Move For Each Other

by Nicole Pomarico

Now that The Bachelorette is over and Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth are on their way to (hopefully) living happily ever after, there are a lot of decisions to be made. Taking a relationship from reality TV to just regular reality can't be easy, especially when both of them were living separate lives that they now have to somehow mold into one. And, it gets even more complicated when you consider that Shawn is from Nashville and Kaitlyn is from Canada — not exactly an easy commute. So, how will they choose? Will Shawn and Kaitlyn live in America or Canada?

Assuming they're planning on living together in the near future, it's not surprising to find out that this is actually something they've already discussed. In their post-finale interview with Good Morning America, they made it seem like both of them are pretty flexible about the whole thing. "I think we love the idea of having a summer home in British Columbia or Vancouver and living in Nashville. I think that sounds pretty ideal," Kaitlyn said at the time.

If that's still the game plan, I think that's a really awesome compromise. Being that Kaitlyn's family is so important to her, it'd be good for her to spend summers with them. And, having spent a lot of time in Nashville, I think she'd probably love it. Between the music, the cheesy country bars, and the billions of indie coffee shops and music history everywhere you go, it's a cool town, and I can totally see Kaitlyn thriving there.

Is coming from two different cities (and countries) going to be a challenge for them? Absolutely. But, let's be real — not even relationships where both parties live in the same city are easy. Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray were both from Atlanta, and their engagement still didn't last. Besides, Shawn and Kaitlyn both seem committed to making things work, and that's definitely a good sign.

I might be way too optimistic, but I totally have a feeling these two are actually going to make it down the aisle this time, no matter where they choose to live. Don't let me down, guys!
