Lady Gaga Never Fears A See-Through Outfit

See-through outfits ain't no thang anymore. They are, in fact, commonplace. Lady Gaga wore a see-through black outfit, showing off her undies, proving true the theory that Mother Monster never met a sheer piece that she didn't like. She does not fear showing off her undies, like, ever. Gaga also covers the new issue of Entertainment Weekly , since her American Horror Story: Hotel role has grabbed maaaj buzz.

Fresh off her dinner party hang session with fellow diva Barbra Streisand, Gaga was snapped in a black ensemble that let Little Monsters get a peek at her bloomers. Thanks to the cut of the outfit, it almost looks like she is wearing granny panties.

But if you are comfortable with looking a little more closely, those aren't granny undies at all! It's more of a bikini cut, but the high waist of the skirt gives the optical illusion of big panties.

Okay, enough of this underwear analysis!

Earlier this summer, Gaga wore a naked jumpsuit that had quite a fishnet effect, along with bell sleeves and bottoms.

Obviously, it's not new information that Gaga isn't afraid to let hints of her intimates be seen.

Gaga wore a lacy top and a sheer bottom. It was almost like going pants-less, which is another of her famous fashion moves.

She has been all about lacy flowers lately. Her Streisand dinner party outfit had a similar top, but it was white.

In fact, her white Babs outfit and this new black outfit are very similar.

I see London. I see France. I see Gaga's underpants! Dayum if she doesn't work this revealing look with confidence.

It's like Gaga is creating a new way to wear floral lace. Lace always seems so fuddy duddy or bride-like to me. But she's giving it a razor-sharp edge.

The EW cover presents Gaga in all of her gothy, vampy, bloody glory. It's divine. But there are several elements that we've seen from her before.

With glossy eyelids, sanguine lips, that claw, and her bloodied neck, it's as glamorously gory as it gets. Gaga has never avoided faux blood as a makeup product or outfit accessory!

Remember her 2009 VMAs performance, which found her painted with platelets?

Gaga's white blonde hair was somewhat the same six years ago as it is now on the EW cover.

Just change her name from "Lady Gaga" to "Bloody Gaga."

The diva was blood-smeared in 2011.

Gaga likes to get all fake-blood smattered. No wonder she accepted the AHS: Hotel role — she seems to relish in it.

Love her red lips, too!

The claw look was something she did on a previous Q cover.

I am happy to report that some signatures will always be a part of Gaga's fashion playbook. Visible undies, blood, and claws remain a part of her gloriously twisted and beautiful repertoire. Even when she revisits a past look, it's always fresh to me.

It's also worth noting that Gaga has had a bounce-back year. She was knocked off her perch with ARTPOP but she is surely reclaiming her throne with this buzzy TV role, the excitement about her next album, her engagement, and her summer fashions. I'm totally rooting for her because fashion and music!
