Starbucks Just Released Two New Frappuccinos!

I have some good news for all you Starbucks lovers out there, and it comes in the form of fruity, blended beverages. Now through Labor Day, Starbucks is releasing two new summer Frappuccinos to help you make the most of these final, warm-weather days of the season. You can head over to Starbucks between Aug. 27 and Sept. 7 to get your hands on a Blackberries & Crème Frappuccino, or a Strawberry Shortcake Frappuccino, each deemed by the company as the true "last sip of summer." Sure, you might have pumpkin spice lattes on the brain right now (who doesn't?), but we still have a ways to go before autumn officially arrives. Labor Day falls a little later on the calendar than usual this year, and it only makes sense to celebrate having an extra week of summer by sipping on a tall, frosty, delicious beverage topped with whipped cream.

So what do these dreamy, creamy beverages taste like? The Blackberries & Crème Frappuccino combines blackberries, vanilla bean, milk, and ice, and is topped with whipped cream and cinnamon dolce topping. Just look at it. Purple has always been the color to signify royalty, which is exactly how you'll feel when you're drinking this refreshing Frapp.

The Strawberry Shortcake Frappuccino is a blended crème with strawberries, strawberry puree, vanilla bean, hazelnut syrup, milk, and ice, and is topped with whipped cream. I'm pretty sure even the lady on the Starbucks logo is reaching out more than usual with extended arms to say, "Come hither — you know you want me." (You do.)

This isn't the first time Starbucks has presented us with finite flavors we inevitably fall head over heels for. Earlier this year, the chain released a Birthday Cake flavor for five days only to celebrate the Frappuccino's 20th anniversary, and let's not forget the six new Frapp flavors that suddenly emerged onto the scene in June to help fulfill our lives for a limited time only. These last two end-of-summer Frappuccinos are just the metaphorical icing on the 20th anniversary celebratory cake.

You can find these brand new Frapps at participating locations across the U.S. and Canada — but yes, they will be short-lived. Don't worry just yet, though. If you're still looking for a sweet pick-me-up after these summery drinks salute you goodbye, try ordering these three other Frappuccino flavors to get you right back into the summer vibe.

1. Lemon Bar Crème Frappuccino

What's better than a refreshing glass of lemonade? Uh, hello — a creamy, lemony-vanilla Starbucks Frapp. You may not see this one on the menu, but if you ask, you shall receive.

This delightful combination essentially tastes like a bonfire in a cup, and if you're not into the tangy, fruitier drinks, this chocolatey, marshmallowy goodness will bring you right back to those summer nights.

Once its shortcake cousin says "so long," you can always crawl back into the welcoming arms of this breezy, iced drink — the OG strawberry drink of choice.
