MK&A Olsen's The Row Moves To Paris From NYFW

by Melodi Erdogan

Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen have cancelled The Row's presentation in New York only to reschedule for Paris Fashion Week, according to Fashionista. A spokesperson from the brand reached out to the publication via email on Monday. The Row, a collaboration between the twin child stars, has now dropped their NYFW for PFW for the second time with little notice. And while the reason for the change remains unknown, there's no doubt the sisters are going to put on a great show, no matter the city.

The last time the duo's luxury brand called off their presentation was for spring 2011, when they stated they need to reschedule due to late delivery of samples for the show. But what makes this last-minute rescheduling a little shocking is that the brand plans on opening a store in NYC by the end of the year. Hosting a presentation in NYC would be a great way to drum up interest in the location. The Row has yet to respond to Bustle's request for comment at the time of publication.

Either way, there's no doubt that MK & A are going to present a great collection, whether it's in The Big Apple of The City Of Light. The Row is known for their luxurious materials and attention to detail, whether it's a leather trench coat or a sleek midi skirt.

Plus, their designs were also nationally recognized when the duo accepted a CFDA award for Womenswear Designers Of The Year in 2012.

So, those babies you saw on Full House? Yeah, they aren't exactly laying low. In fact, at 29-years-old, the duo has already established a well-respected resume in the fashion industry. MK & A have been designing The Row since 2006, and in 2007 they launched a contemporary brand, Elizabeth & James. On top of that, they've designed for StyleMint, J.C.Penney, and released a coffee table book called INFLUENCE that's beyond fascinating.

So, their fashion and style presence has a history, and I'm sure the upcoming show in Paris is only going to add to that. But, of course, who better to rep The Row than Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen themselves? Here are five instances when the sisters rocked their own designs.

1. MET Gala In 2009

This white gown Ashley wore to the 2009 "Model As Muse" Met Gala was beyond gorgeous. Just look at the structural back, and the sleek sleeves.

2. Broadway Premiere In 2010

Black lace can sometimes give a witchy, Halloweeny feel. But here, the twins look flawless. Even though I couldn't tell you why they're wearing sunglasses.

3. CFDA In 2010

Black is obviously a staple for these sisters, and who can blame them? They make beautiful dresses out of the color, and these casual yet chic looks were perfect for the annual CFDA event.

4. CFDA In 2014

Because what else would you wear to a fashion awards show than your own designs?

5. CFDA In 2011

I'm sure when you're twins, you're used to wearing the same thing. Here, Mary-Kate and Ashley both carried matching The Row bags.

One last time, for good measure. Also because that magenta dress is absolutely gorgeous.
