The Rihanna x Puma Collaboration Sneak Peek Proves The Line Will Live Up To Riri's Good-Girl-Gone-Bad Style

If anyone can take a classic shoe and turn it into a sexy piece of work, its our favorite Barbadian princess. On Tuesday, a first look of the Rihanna x Puma collaboration was leaked on Twitter, and included two videos of the much-anticipated collection that fans have been waiting months for.

Though short, the videos give a brief look into the sneaker box (which, if you're a sneakerhead or an organized freak like myself) are half the fun. The matte black box reads "Puma by Rihanna" and "FENTY," her last name. The second video is the climax — a look into the Puma suede sneakers with a textured creeper sole.

The all-black sneaker has a classic brown rubber sole, and of course, reads "Puma" in gold. My favorite part would have to be the leather laces, an added touch to the classic silhouette. Though there isn't a release date just yet, this preview is certainly getting some people excited. And rightfully so. Though I'm not usually a fan of creepers, I'm actually digging this pair, with its slightly lower platform heel and more subdued look. Plus, as a shorty, I can always appreciate a little added height without looking like I'm wearing Baby Spice's platforms (no shade, she was my favorite).

A little background here: Rihanna was actually named the creative director of Puma this past December, and was put to work to design classic Puma styles and create her own. Enter this collaboration that just leaked. In addition to being named the creative director, she was also named as the global brand ambassador.

Though this is the first look, it comes as no surprise that this is the look she chose, as she's posted photos on Instagram of the classic Puma with the creeper sole. Cat's out of the bag now, though! Creepers are in. Rihanna and Puma say so.
