Dakota Johnson Displays Tattoos In Alexander McQueen Dress At TIFF — PHOTOS
The best way to cling to the fading summer season is through fashion. Dakota Johnson bloomed in a floral Alexander McQueen dress at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. It was as though the actress was ushering in spring and summer, even as we prepare for fall and its much-welcomed layers, with her dress. The frock is certainly ripe for the future warm weather seasons.
The Fifty Shades of Grey starlet, who recently posed makeup-free for AnOther magazine, wore the brand's pre-S/S 2016 sweet pea chiffon gown to the premiere of Black Mass. The flowery frock was darling without being precious. That's a fine line right there and the woman known for her role as Anastasia Steele didn't even come close to crossing it.
The dress had a peek-a-boo element on the bodice, just under her breasts and above the waist. It was an unexpected touch.
Another really cute element of the largely elegant ensemble? Johnson has a sprinkle of birds tattooed on the back of her shoulder. It was a seriously spring-y look, since birds and flowers are a harbinger of the season.
Obviously, that was isn't intentional. Sometimes happy fashion accidents just... happen!
Let's have a look at Johnson in full bloom.
She was like an ethereal garden nymph in the cream gown.
Her over-the-shoulder pose was so sweetly sexy. Johnson is becoming more and more comfortable on the red carpet and as a fashion star.
The ruffled neckline and super skinny straps added another dose of femininity to an already crazy femme frock.
Flyin' south for the winter. Notice her messy updo, as well. It was a contrast to the pretty and frilly dress, adding a roughed up element. It's another reason the presentation wasn't too precious.
There's the peek-a-boo detailing.
Drop pearl earrings were the right accessory, since she opted for a naked neck and no other accessories between her head and chest.
Soft makeup and sideswept bangs completed the pretty picture.
The actress did wear a few simple and thin bracelets. Everything about her look fell into place in ravishing fashion.
Johnson also looked sassy in a striped gray dress and strappy heels at TIFF, too, but I'm partial to that glamorous McQueen.
