Mixing sexy and playful is normally a resounding "do" in fashion. But when Rita Ora wore a puffy Looney Toons jacket while braless, the singer and actress took it to a whole other extreme. Her black, cropped jacket by Moschino features Sylvester and Tweety Bird on either front panel, each character rocking their own version of streetwear.
The jacket is bold, it's colorful, and it boasts a bunch of other beloved cartoon characters.
It's also crazy expensive, with a $2200 price tag, according to Jezebel. So, no, you can't exactly pick up your very own version at a theme park gift shop.
However, the jacket never veers down the cutesy path, since Ora upped the sexpot ante by foregoing both a bra and a top. She was never, ever a caricature while wearing it.
Ora wore the jacket with faded jeans at the Moschino show at NYFW. She also hung out with rapper Tyga while taking in the runway looks.
With her white blonde locks pulled into a tight pony and rolled bangs and her tummy exposed, Ora totally summons the spirit of Gwen Stefani circa the '90s with this look.
It's usually a risky and daring decision to go bra-free, since that's how wardrobe malfunctions happen. But this is Ora we're talking about. She is fearless.
In addition to showing off front side cleavage, Ora also displayed a taut tummy. Those bangs, though! I am totally feeling Miss Stefani in the '90s and early '00s, thanks to the hair and the blood red lips.
And honestly, going without a bra really does stop this look from being teenagery.
Ora can totally hang with Sylvester and Tweety.
Here's the full look, including the heels.
I love that the singer is wearing aviators while inside.
Hanging with Tyga, who has also been a NYFW fixture.
Ora is excellent at mashing glam with street chic. Her red carpet outfits, like the times she's worn lovely Marchesa ensembles, are always fab. But her street style also kills it.
Going bra-less ended up being the best choice for this jacket.
Here's that Stefani inspo I mentioned. You can't deny that the No Doubt singer was likely source material for Ora's latest look.
