Lucy Hale's Dress Is Printed With What?

by Augusta Statz

One pretty little liar may not have been able to stay at NYFW for long, but she still managed to make her presence known. Lucy Hale attended the Jeremy Scott SS16 show wearing a dress from his Fall 2015 collection and totally nailed the whole wacky (but still really fashionable) thing that Scott is known for. When it comes to NYFW, Hale certainly knows how to dress the part. Everything from her hair to her makeup was spot-on, and you’ve got to respect a girl who knows how to come fully prepared, like a flawless fashion week attendee.

The Victorian Sleeve Silk Cape Dress that she wore is a little out there (I mean, it does have a lace-trimmed collar and puffy sleeves for crying out loud) and is printed with ducks wearing flower crowns. So, yeah. Zany to say the least. And with a dress like this, you’ve got to keep the styling minimal because you can’t have a power struggle between your makeup and your outfit. Hale absolutely nailed it, and made this look totally wearable. She gets major props for that.

While she couldn’t stay in NY for too long (there’s more PLL shooting to be done, #priorities), she did take the time to document the entire process leading up to the runway show, so you can see what went on behind the scenes.

1. Hair

I'm in love with this updo that's simple but still really cool.

2. Makeup

The "after" is impeccable. She went simple, with a splash of color on the lips. It's not too much, but in line with the overall fun-factor of her look.

Here it is all put together.

I really think she looks great.

She definitely honored this designer in the best way possible.

4. Back At Home

Nothing like a quick trip to NYFW.

I'm so glad she could make an appearance.
