'BB's Liz Quotes About Austin Prove It Isn't Love

As if any of us need more proof that the Big Brother 17 showmance between Austin and Liz is going nowhere fast, here's another thing to add to the list: there are a number of things that Liz has said recently to throw their love into question. I personally have been convinced that Liz and Austin are doomed as a couple since pretty much the beginning of their relationship.

Thankfully, Liz and Austin are the stars of a show that films their every move, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Because of that, there are plenty of sound bites of Liz saying things about Austin that prove that this showmance between them is really a no-mance. (Or, at least it will be once they are both out of the game and $500,000 isn’t still on the line.)

Because, as much as their snuggling and kissing might suggest that Liz and Austin are head over heels in love with each other, the things that Liz has been saying behind Austin’s back (or even sometimes to his face) definitely suggest otherwise.

Liz said this after Austin won the Power of Veto and flaunted it all around the house. I’m pretty sure that’s not how someone in true love supports her partner’s victories in life.

Comparing your guy to other guys is definitely a sign of a weak relationship — not true love.

If the physical spark isn’t there, there might not be anything to pull these two together beyond the game.

Liz said this to Austin’s face. BURN. I’m pretty sure this was her way of hinting that the longevity of their relationship was definitely in question.

Would somebody who was really in love with someone sing sassy showtunes about how he better not betray her family? I don’t think so.

Liz said this about Austin to her sister, whom she was worried might be targeted by Austin the next week. Talk about trust issues.

Doping accusations. The first sign of true love, for sure.
