DASH Doll Missy Flores Has A Passion For Fashion

by Laura Rosenfeld

I don't know if you realize this, but America's first family, the Kardashians (yeah, I said it), is quite busy. They don't call their show Keeping up with the Kardashians for nothing, now do they? With all that they've got going on, they need a little help to run those DASH boutiques you've seen on the show and heard them talk about before. And, now, those employees are getting their very own show. DASH Dolls star Melissa "Missy" Flores is one of the workers that helps keep the high-end boutique in tip-top shape. But, who is Missy Flores?

Well, we're all apparently just going to have to watch DASH Dolls to find out. Aside from being very active on Twitter, Missy hasn't had much time in the public eye yet, so she's definitely one of the more aloof DASH Dolls right now. Of course, that's surprising for someone that's so closely connected to the Kardashians, but I'm sure that will all change once DASH Dolls premieres.

Still, from what I can glean from a Google search and Missy's social media profiles, her style, personality, and passions seem to make her a perfect fit for DASH and to be one of the chosen few to bask in the glory of the Kardashians. Here's what you need to know about Missy before DASH Dolls premieres, and be forewarned: You might fall in love with her before you even see her on screen.

1. She Has A Major Job At DASH

Missy's official bio for DASH Dolls describes her as the "media and marketing maven" and "the one-stop shop for all things online." While I kind of love that title, Missy's official position at DASH is called the media and marketing coordinator. What that translates to is she is in charge of all of the in-store events, handling all of the store's social media, and figuring out new ways to make DASH money, according to the description of her position on her LinkedIn profile. So, if you've heard about DASH within the past few months, you probably have Missy to thank for that.

2. She Worked Her Way Up

Missy has a pretty important job at DASH these days, but she didn't always lead the glamorous life. According to Missy's LinkedIn profile, she first began working at DASH in July 2012 as a sales associate. She later became a keyholder (whatever that means) in February 2014. Then in December of that year, she was promoted to her current role.. As one of Missy's favorite artists, Drake, would say, "Started from the bottom, now we're here."

3. She Has Worked In Fashion Forever

Missy clearly has a passion for fashion. She earned her Associate of Arts degree in Merchandise Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2013 and worked at Bebe before joining the DASH crew. So, I'm expecting big things from Missy on DASH Dolls.

4. She Has Already Made Friends With Other E! Stars

It looks like Missy has already spun up a storm at Cycle House, the Los Angeles-based spin studio chronicled in fellow E! reality series Hollywood Cycle. In fact, all of the DASH Dolls seem to love to work out there. They even partner with them to raise money for charities, such as the American Cancer Society and No Kid Hungry. This is one friendship I'm happy to support.

5. She Has A Canine Companion

I feel like every reality TV star has a puppy pal, so why wouldn't Missy have one as well? She posts pics of her with her pet, which looks like a Yorkshire Terrier, on Instagram all of the time — and we're all better off for it.

6. She Has A Thing For Elephants

Missy also seems to be a big fan of elephants, posting a bunch of cute and hilarious photos of them on Instagram and Twitter, sometimes to express her mood, sometimes to just give the world something majestic to look at. I bet she would have one of these animals as a pet too if she could.

This is what we know about Missy so far. But, I'm sure we'll learn a lot more about her this season!
