What Time Does The 2015 Emmys Red Carpet Start?

by Melanie Richtman

This Sunday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET, the Emmys will be live on FOX. But when does the Emmys red carpet start? While an exact start time is hard to come by, red carpet coverage on E! begins at 4:30 p.m. ET, according to the network's website, so I'm guessing that the celebs will start showing up around 6 p.m. I predict that this year's show will be incredibly entertaining with Andy Samberg as the host. But let's be real, the main reason we all watch the Emmys is to drool over the designer dress choices of our favorite celebrities.

Now that New York Fashion Week has wrapped up, I anticipate seeing some of my favorite designers' looks on the red carpet — straight from the runway. Last year, Allison Williams looked stunning in Giambattista Valli Couture, and Claire Danes stunned in Givenchy. Who will be the best dressed at this year's show? My guess is that Kerry Washington or Viola Davis will steal the show (although I may be biased since I am a huge fan of Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder).

After the many changes the Emmys committee made to the voting system this year, the 2015 Emmys might be the most volatile Emmys yet. Will Game of Thrones win everything? Will Empire get snubbed? Only time will tell. So tune in on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on FOX for the show and catch the live coverage of the red carpet to see all of the fabulous dresses at 4:30 p.m. ET on E!
