Now that's what I call a handsome couple! Newlyweds Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder were a well-matched, mostly black-wearing duo on the red carpet in Hollywood last night. Reed wore a jumpsuit, which is pretty much one of the hottest trends in fashion right now, as evidenced by Jennifer Aniston and her strappy black jumpsuit and Selena Gomez and her girl boss pantsuit.
The pair attended the Heifer International Beyond Hunger Gala in amazingly glam outfits. They weren't doing black tie and they weren't overly dressed up, yet even though their outfits weren't stuffy or structured, they were anything but style slouches.
Reed donned a peek-a-boo jumpsuit by Noam Hanoch, while her husband was gloriously disheveled in a black blazer and dark gray trousers, which he paired with an open white shirt. No tie, no problem.
The couple meshed well... just like a pair of newly marrieds should! They proved they were in style synch on their wedding day.
The Twilight actress' jumpsuit didn't look like a jumpsuit but more like a two-piece ensemble, consisting of a cami with high-waisted pants and strappy heels. It's actually the perfect outfit for the end of summer, since it was light, showed some skin, and had little in the way of bulk.
Jumpsuits can be tricky and hard to wear, but not in Reed's case. She opted for messy, bed-head waves, and a slick of orange-y red lipstick. She wore her outfit and her lipstick with confidence; she knew she looked good.
I think this outfit worked so well since it also looked like a set.
Now Somerhalder is pretty much the best accessory you can have.
These two... so in love and so well-coordinated on the red carpet. The couple that dresses alike stays together. Maybe? Perhaps? Sure.
The lacy detail of the top of Reed's jumpsuit added such a feminine vibe.
Those orange-slicked lips totally popped against her olive skin and glossy, effortlessly wavy locks.
Reed's black outfit was so September perfect. Essentially, this is how you wrap up summer fashion and the season itself.
If you want to copy Reed's lip look, try MAC's Lady Danger ($17, nordstrom.com) and turn it up by adding several swipes. Several coats of this concentrated shade should get you a Nikki Reed-inspired pout. It's the next best thing to having Somerhalder on your arm.
