'Friends' As 'Peanuts' Characters Is Spot-On

by Maggie Malach

More than 10 years after the finale, pop culture's love for Friends hasn't waned. There's a reason why it's one of the best shows of the '90s. From the inside jokes to the hilarious characters to the friendship goals, Friends was everything we wanted our 20s to be. When I had the opportunity to merge the cast with the characters of another iconic friend group, the Peanuts gang, I couldn't resist putting a new spin on Rachel, Ross, Monica, Joey, Phoebe, and Chandler.

The Get Peanuts site lets you create your own characters. You can make a Peanuts version of yourself, of your family, or, yes, of the cast of Friends. What's cool about the generator is that there are so many details to customize your avatar. From hair color to hairstyle to facial expressions to clothes, there's tons of possibilities. This especially came in handy when bringing the Friends characters to life, as each one is known for her or her personality and personal style. (I'm looking at you, Rachel Green.)

You can check out the Friends cast reimagined as Peanuts characters in the photos below. Head over to Peanutize Me to customize your very own characters!

Monica Gellar

Long, shiny brunette hair? This is high-strung Monica at her chillest.

Joey Tribbiani

From the leather jacket to the laid-back demeanor, even Peanuts Joey radiates charm.

Rachel Green

Of course the edgy fashionista Rachel would feel at home at the school dance.

Ross Gellar

Ross is always suited up and ready to teach his college course or head to the museum. Also, there's a nod to his famous, heavily gelled hair.

Phoebe Buffay

Quirky Phoebe still has her long blonde locks and upbeat personality.

Chandler Bing

Sarcastic and hilarious, Chandler's casual style is maintained in his Peanuts character.
