Who Made the 'Real Housewives of OC' Cut?

by Emma Goddard

For all you Real Housewives fans — and, let's face it, there are plenty of you out there hiding that guilty pleasure — the Real Housewives of Orange County has hired new cast members for its ninth season, according to Us Weekly. The Bravo series, which centers around the lives of ridiculously affluent women and all the things we, as fans, wish we could have but cannot afford, will return with a few regulars, as well as two reported new members: Elizabeth Rovsek and Shannon Beador. They will join the show with returning cast members Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, and Heather Dubrow.

Rovsek, a former Miss Kentucky pageant queen, the mother of two and the owner of her business, Sun Kitten Swimwear, has already started making some ties. She recently tweeted at Real Housewives of Beverly Hills member, Joyce Giraud, saying "You are so beautiful! Inside & out!!" Although it seems like she’s starting friendships with the wrong castmates (Joyce? Really?), to each his (or her) own.

Similarly, Beador, a mother of three, has also started buddying up with someone. Beador and Barney have already been pictured on Instagram together, attending the USC-UCLA football game not too long ago, according to E! Online. So it looks like these women are already choosing sides, and really, who knows what will come of that. Let’s hope that they can all be friends for once... or is that wishful thinking? After all, returning OG Gunvalson would never allow for a drama-free OC. We can already tell how she feels about having two new reported cast mates to spar with:

All I can say is, may the odds be ever in your favor, ladies.
