The Bazaar Star Awards Had The Best Style, Ever
Did you happen to catch the 2015 Bazaar Star Charity Night across the Pacific in Beijing? The charity event, which was hosted by Harper's Bazaar China, featured some of the best fashion in the world — we're talking Cannes Opening Ceremony/Academy Awards/Met Gala levels of fab here. After all, many of China's top celebrities were in attendance (in fact, roughly half of the cover girls from Vogue China 's 10th anniversary edition were all there). International mega-watt stars Fan Bingbing, Shu Qi, Angelababy, Li Bingbing, and Carina Lau in particular turned up the heat in the fashion department, stunning in show stopping gowns of epic proportions.
Fan Bingbing (AKA the fourth highest-paid actress in the world) looked characteristically elegant in crystal-studded Elie Saab (thus taking a break from her customary Ralph & Russo), while the ever-stylish (and adventurous!) Li Bingbing went for the editorial look in architectural Stéphane Rolland. Carina Lau took a leaf from Fan's book and wore some intricately regal Ralph & Russo, and Qi (who also had quite the showing at Cannes) cut quite the figure in siren red caped Valentino — but it was Angelababy who stole the show in drop dead gorgeous star-embellished ball gown from the latest Zuhair Murad couture collection. Let's take a look!
1. Fan Bingbing in Elie Saab
It really doesn't get much more glamorous than that, now, does it? Also, her hair/accessories game is as on point as ever.
2. Li Bingbing in Stéphane Rolland
Striking, elegant, and more than a little kooky — all served with a side of brighter-than-bright Barbie pink lipstick.
3. Carina Lau in Ralph & Russo
A "SLAY" moment if ever there was one.
4. Shu Qi in Valentino
You can never go wrong with a red cape (especially if said red cape happens to be Valentino)
5. Angelababy in Zuhair Murad
All your fairy tale dreams made corporeal in one magnificent, magnificent ball gown. Once more, with feeling:
What was your favorite look from the evening?
