Rachel Weisz & Kendall Jenner Are Unexpected Twins

by Melodi Erdogan

There's no doubt the Marc Jacobs collection was going to be well-liked by celebrities, but this is something else. Fashionista reported that Rachel Weisz wore SS16 Marc Jacobs not even two weeks after it debuted — on Kendall Jenner's person during the runway show, no less! This is only a week after Kerry Washington killed it at the Emmy's in another Marc Jacobs creation from the same collection.

Yes, you read that correctly. Not even two weeks have passed since Marc Jacobs debuted his latest collection and I think it's already safe to say it's a celebrity success.

Last Sunday, attending an event for her latest film The Lobster at the New York Film Festival, Weisz wore a gorgeous sequined, metallic midi dress from the designer's latest collection, which happened to be the same one Jenner modeled during the presentation only 11 days before. Although goes without saying, they both looked absolutely stunning.

Here's Weisz, standing pretty on the red carpet. The dress suits her super well, as her porcelain skin looks great paired with the sparkling sequins. Plus, the length is a perfectly trendy midi that ends right at her ankles. I also adore how she paired her dress with a little, sparkling box clutch that is barely noticeable, but matches really well, as well as basic shoes that don't take away from the overall effect.

Let's compare to Jenner's fierce look on the runway. The Marc Jacobs team had her wear criss-crossed booties, also embellished with sequins. She also carried a small clutch with the same colors of the dress, tying into the bright yet beautiful palette.

I honestly couldn't pick one "who wore it better" in this case. Yes, the styling was different, but the dress itself is so wonderfully busy and loud, I think it makes a statement on it's own, whether on the runway or on the red carpet.

This isn't the first time Weisz and Jenner have twinned style-wise. In fact, their chic, cool, and feminine vibes are rather similar, even though they seemingly couldn't be more different.

In honor of them sharing this gorgeous Marc Jacobs dress, here are nine times these two actually looked like style twins. Great minds dress alike!

1. Sheer & Black Gown

Jenner looks super sexy in this skin tight, sheer black dress. Weisz looks stunning in a version of her own, complete with sheer train and polka dots.

2. White Gown

Leave it to Jenner to look angelic in a straight, white gown with an apron-neckline. For Weisz, white it all about ruffles and layers.

3. Puffy Sleeves

I've never really been inclined to wear a dress with puffy sleeves. But according to Jenner and Weisz, the look is a keeper in a bright color.

4. Green

I'm pretty sure both of these ladies could pull of any color they wanted, but they should embrace green as often as possible.

5. Black Jumpsuit

If this isn't enough encouragement to try out a black jumpsuit, I don't know what is. They both look absolutely gorgeous in their own interpretation of this new wardrobe staple.

6. Suit

Again, Weisz opts for polka dots. But this time, so does Jenner! There's an uncanny resemblance between these outfits.

7. Strapless Cream Gown

Kendall Jenner's Topshop gown from 2014 for the Met Gala was gorgeous, and still haunts me to this day. But Rachel Weisz premiere dress for the premier of Oz was just as stunning.
