Kendall Closed NYFW At Marc Jacobs' Show

by Marc Cuenco

Two darlings of the fashion world collided on Thursday night when Kendall Jenner walked Marc Jacobs' spring/summer 2016 show at NYFW. As one of the most anticipated shows every year, it was inevitable that the in-demand model would make an appearance on the runway. Even though he neither confirmed nor denied last week if Jenner was going to model at his show, Jacobs praised Jenner's charming personality.

"I love Kendall because she's a sweet girl," Jacobs told Elle . "She's beautiful, obviously, but really it's that she's so sweet." During Jacobs' movie-themed show that also featured rocker Beth Ditto, Jenner wore a colorful ensemble that evoked old Hollywood glamour with a touch of Parisian chic. The dress featured a crew neck top and a graphic printed skirt with a cummerbund-style belt. Like the other models in the show, Jenner's hair and makeup were inspired by the "morning after" look of an East Village party girl.

If you've been following her on social media these past few days, then you're already aware that Jenner is the undisputed queen of NYFW, as well as being named one of the highest paid models by Forbes. She started the week at the celebrity-packed and emotional Givenchy show, followed by runway appearances at Diane Von Furstenburg and Michael Kors. During Jacobs' show, however, Jenner added another impressive runway moment to her ever-growing resume.

Jenner's look for the #MarcJacobsPremiere fashion show represented the designer's glam-punk aesthetic, which paid tribute to a long-gone era, but with modern touches throughout.

Kendall definitely deserves a vacation after this!
