Zayn Malik Might Get His Own Reality Show

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the kind of world we live in? A world where Zayn Malik gets his own reality show. OK, possibly gets his own reality show. If he's even really in talks to get one at all. But, oh, the joy that lies within the possibility, am I right? HollywoodLife.com has exclusively reported that Malik is in "talks" with "various networks" about starring in a reality show that will follow his life, specifically the trials and/or tribulations of being the most missed ex-member of One Direction (cue the screams heard across the world, cue the #ZaynTV, #ZaynKardashian, #Zayn4Ever trends on Twitter). Bustle has reached out to Malik's representatives for comment, but have yet to receive a response.

A source told HollywoodLife.com, "Zayn is talking to E! and other networks about a reality show that will document his time after being in One Direction and working on his new music. It will counter when new music comes out, so it’s not going to be any time soon, but within the year. Don’t expect it to come out in 2015!” So does this mean — if it happens — the show will come out in 2016? Because, honestly, that feels super long at first, but, when you break it down, it's only really three months away, and, though I will definitely start a scrupulous countdown on my calendar, I can do that. That's doable. Right, guys?

If we could get some more information, such as confirmation from Malik himself that this will be happening, I think I will finally get some rest tonight. And, if network execs are wishy-washy on whether or not this is a good idea, then I'd like to take this moment to explain why I agree with them. It's not a good idea. It's the best idea ever.

Personally, I would love to know more about the phenomenon that is Zayn Malik's hair. I cannot be the only one.

RIP, Zerrie. You will be missed.

3. He Could Tell Us What It's Like to Leave A Popular Boy Band

Besides the fact that he no longer has anyone to coordinate outfits with, that must have been really emotionally tough on the guy. Getting his perspective on the ordeal would be an interesting moment to watch, you have to admit.

The world is full of possibilities. What will he do next?

5. We Could Watch Him Sing

I mean, come on. The most distressing part of Malik leaving One Direction is the sparse amount of new music we've gotten out of him while we wait for his solo album.

6. He Would Grow From the Process

Apparently, filming reality TV is, like, hard and teaches you a lot about yourself. Just ask the Kardashians.

7. His Fans Would Better Understand Him

We're here for you Zayn. But you have to let us in (i.e. allow television cameras to follow you around 24/7).
