'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' Gets 4 New Images & Some Prerequisite Anticipation
We've still got a few months to go before Cap faces off with the Winter Soldier, but the aptly titled Captain America: The Winter Soldier has new stills to tide us over for a little while longer. The images, courtesy of Empire Magazine, feature what appears to be all of the film's major players — there's Sebastian Stan's Bucky/Winter Soldier rocking the hell out of Cap's shield and that early '90s grunge hair style. There's Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff apparently in fight/flight mode, gun a-ready. There's Robert Redford and Samuel L. Jackson as Alexander Pierce and Nick Fury respectively, sharing some (sadly probably accidental) sexual tension. And then there's Chris Evans as Cap himself, looking broodily patriotic, as is his way.
For those who need the refresher, here's the official IMDb synopsis for the film:
Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and battles a new threat from old history: the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier comes out April 4, 2014. For now, we've got a trailer and these pictures — you can see the full range of the photos over at Empire — to hold us over.
