These Movies Are Coming To Your Netflix Queue

by Alanna Bennett

2014 will bring a lot of things, some of them I'm assured of which will be amazing. It will also bring the unfortunate Netflix erasure of a whole bunch of movies you've still been meaning to watch semi-bitterly at 2am, including but not limited to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Requiem For a Dream, and Titanic. Alongside that, though, is a glimmer of awesome: Because Netflix is adding a bunch of movies come Jan 1, 2014, too.

Amongst these include some classics, including Audrey Hepburn's legendary Breakfast At Tiffany's, which handily take the place of Roman Holiday. There's also classic revenge/buddy movie Thelma & Louise, which is a great choice if you're ever feeling like sticking it to the patriarchy (read: every day).

Another flick that will be stepping it up to the plate is Amélie, that highly stylized modern fairytale that broke out of its French origins in 2001 to win the hearts of idealistic young girls (read: me) everywhere. There's aslo Ghost, if you're interested in simultaneously snarking at the very concept of that movie and feeling very sad once again that Patrick Swayze is no longer with us. There's also The Grapes Of Wrath, if you're looking to feel bummed out in general.
