Gwyneth Paltrow Looks Stunning In All White
When it comes to fashion, Gwyneth Paltrow is a pretty elusive chameleon, caught in daring couture one moment, and the next, in classic all-American wear. Whatever she's in, she's always prim, proper, and sleek: All of which describe Gwyneth Paltrow at the Power of Women Luncheon hosted by Variety, where she wore an all-white ensemble that was the epitome of elegant.
This outfit is exactly what I'd want to wear if I were ever invited to a luncheon (anyone out there hear me?) — it's chic, it's minimal, and above all, its classic. Plus, the skirt's slit adds just the right amount of sexy femininity that so many of us are always trying to accomplish. The top and skirt combo is actually made by Lady Gaga's stylist, Brandon Maxwell. Small world, huh?
This particular look was pulled from Maxwell's Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection. Maxwell is pretty much a genius at creating elegant separates, and this one look was no exception. While on the runway, the model paired it with black pumps and pulled back hair, Paltrow went with nude Jimmy Choo pumps and center-parted, straight hair. Like Paris, Jimmy Choo is always a good idea. Paltrow kept the sophisticated look simple with a natural lip and a dark manicure.
