Here's How Taylor Swift Should Spend Her Millions

by Maggie Malach

It pays to be Taylor Swift — literally. The "Wildest Dreams" singer is having a very, very flush year. MSN reports that Swift made $1 million per day in 2015 so far, making her the highest-paid musician in the world. All in a day's work, right? "Right now, Taylor is untouchable," media analyst Mike Raia said told MSN. "She is so far ahead of everyone else in the industry that she has become not only a powerhouse entertainer but also an important mover and shaker on the commercial side of the music business."

Just a few of Swift's career purchases include multiple pieces of real estate, a private jet, and lots of gorgeous shoes. I'm sure, if pressed, she could find ways to spend the insane amount of money in her bank account, but I figured I'd help her out. You know, spend vicariously through the singer. As it turns out, $1 million per day adds up to a lot of purchases, really quick. You can buy a lot of things for that sum, but I broke it down into Swift-approved purchases. From her signature style choices to her well-documented loves, here are 13 (obviously) things she can buy with $1 million.

1. 666.6 Scottish Fold Cats

Scottish fold cats can cost up to $1,500 each. Luckily, Swift can buy lots of siblings for Meredith and Olivia.

2. 1,253 Stuart Weitzman Boots

Swift has been rocking these on her 1989 tour.

3. 66,711 Copies Of 1989

In case she wants to keep a few copies on hand.

4. 58,823 Tubes Of Red Lipstick

Swift told PEOPLE magazine her favorite shade is Ruby Woo by M.A.C.

5. 2,500 Seasons Of Law & Order: SVU

There are 16 seasons available for purchase and they retail for about $25 each. Happy binge-watching!

6. 12,500 Polaroid Cameras

The rest of the world was black and white, but we were in screaming color.

7. 840,336 Sharpies

From makeshift eyeliner to decorating Band-aids, Swift loves a good Sharpie.

8. 125,156 Copies Of Ryan Adams' 1989

Can't forget Ryan Adams' cover album!

9. 20 More Donations To New York City Schools

Swift donated $50,000 in song proceeds to New York City schools. She could do this 20 more times.

10. 333,333 Copies Of Her GQ Cover

That's a lot of magazines.

11. 312.5 Guitars

Swift's Taylor 614ce Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar retails for approximately $3,199.

12. 1/20 Of A Tribeca Penthouse

Her New York City pad cost $20 million. So, you know, less than a month's salary.

13. 83,333 Paper Airplane Necklaces

You can buy a replica of Swift's famous necklace for $12. Now we can think we stand a chance like two paper airplanes flying, flying.

Happy spending, Swift!
