Gwen Stefani Wore Fishnets To Non-Halloween Event

When it comes to dressing for the red carpet, we're used to seeing extravagant gowns, glamorous jewels, and ultra luxe designs. Well, one stylish celeb gave us quite the opposite of that with a recent look. Gwen Stefani wore a minidress and fishnets at the UCLA Neurosurgery Visionary Ball in Beverly Hills on Thursday, for a totally unique style that actually looked super cool.

I don't know about you, but fishnets immediately remind me of Halloween. I typically associate them with some kind of sexy witch or cat costume. Never have I seen anyone rock them to a swanky event on the red carpet — leave it to Stefani to pull something like that off so flawlessly.

The 46-year-old showed up in a sparkly multicolored minidress with a combination of purple, gold, and blue. The sultry style featured a plunging neckline and a teeny hemline hitting just below her hips. Her thick black fishnet stockings were on full display, flaunting her ultra long legs. She topped off the look with black point toe pumps, a stack full of bracelets, and a tiny black purse. Her platinum blonde locks were styled in a voluminous slicked back fashion, and she rocked a pale pink pout with loads of liner and mascara. The complete look was totally original and cool. No costume here.
