If you're like me, you probably spent Tuesday night in pajamas, flipping back and forth between the Republican debate and the latest episode of Scream Queens. Meanwhile, A-list stars were far more glamorous and attended the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York City. Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez, and The Weeknd all performed at the event. Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid made their VS runway debuts alongside seasoned vets like Lily Aldridge and Behati Prinsloo. Unfortunately, there was a special someone missing from the audience — Prinsloo's husband, Adam Levine. According to various sources, the Maroon 5 frontman was on the West Coast filming The Voice. But don't worry, he made it up to her! Adam Levine bought Behati Prinsloo gorgeous flowers, and she shared the romantic gesture on her Instagram.
Not only did Levine buy his wife a gigantic bouquet of roses, but he also sprinkled the floor with even more roses. Prinsloo captioned the bouquet snapshot "best hus ev," because who needs to write out full words when you have the best husband ever? Along with the photo of flowers on the floor, she wrote, "Stop it. I might puke." Obviously she was joking about how nauseatingly adorable this all is. Since Levine couldn't be there in person, clearly he wanted to do as much as he possible could to make up for it. Mission accomplished.
All in all, Behati Prinsloo had a major night last night — and no, not just because her husband showered her with flowers. Prinsloo opened the entire Victoria's Secret Fashion Show for the second year in a row. In an interview with PeopleStyle, the model said, "It’s a great honor to be the third angel ever to open the show for two years in a row. I’m so grateful to the Victoria’s Secret family for trusting me with the responsibility." It really is impressive! She joins the company of Gisele Bündchen and Adriana Lima, who have shared the same honor.
Even though he couldn't be there for the fashion show, Levine helped Prinsloo prepare beforehand. According to Prinsloo's Instagram, the couple likes to exercise together. She jokingly captioned the photo, "Kinda have a thing for my trainer." Hmmm, I wonder why she'd say that? Kidding, this is super sweet, and it's great that they each have a built-in workout buddy.
Lucky for Levine, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show airs on CBS on Dec. 8. While he missed the live taping, he can still catch Prinsloo in all her runway glory by tuning in, along with everybody else who didn't get the chance to watch in-person.
