You have to see it to believe it — Kate Hudson is the cover girl for Harper's Bazaar's December issue and radiates goddess vibes like no other. Looks like Aphrodite might have just met her modern day match. Her style weapon? A stunning, carnation pink masterpiece care of Atelier Versace.
Hudson has aced the sartorial game before — she once even churned out two chic outfits in one unforgettable night. Fashion aside, the actress and co-founder of fitness brand Fabletics got candid in this month's interview with Bazaar. Over vodka and salmon, Hudson reveals a tantalizing slice of her Hollywood life, dabbling in everything from her adoration for all things Instagram to a fateful snow bunny encounter.
On the romantic front, Hudson isn't afraid to strike it solo. "It's nice to get acquainted with myself alone," Hudson told Bazaar executive editor Laura Brown, "You know, the goal when you get into a relationship is not to be out of the relationship. It's to try to stay in the relationship. But if it doesn't work, you can't force those things."
In addition to parting words of wisdom on love, Hudson tackled another important topic: her wardrobe. Forget about LBDs — she’s a white dress devotee, and her go-to uniform consists of three simple ingredients: jeans, T-shirts, and heels.
Kate Hudson may be blowing up newstands with her Bazaar cover, but don’t forget about her seven past winning looks on the red carpet.
1. White Hot
As Hudson professed in her Bazaar interview, she's a big fan of white frocks (with ten white dresses to boot) — and for a good reason too. The crisp hue is youthful meets sophistication, especially when done in a sleek pantsuit.
2. Mother Nature
Leave it to Hudson to execute floral in the most majestic manner: a silk train dress with body-wrapping flowers. Mother Nature would be proud.
3. Cut It Out
Sometimes you need to shed a bit of good girl glamour and embrace the risqué. It's all in the strategic cut-outs.
4. Isle Of Golden Dreams
Hudson seems to favor a theme when it comes to her formal ensembles — lots of floral and delicate neutrals. But when she does stray from familiar territory, she does so in true style: a golden gown of glittery dreams.
5. Garden Party
Winter may be quickly closing in, but Hudson brings a spring awakening with an off-the-shoulder number. It's decidedly light, fun, and oh so Kate.
6. In The Nude
Never underestimate the power of simplicity. With a top-knot and metallic clutch, Hudson rocks yet again a ruffled, off-the-shoulder dress in a delicate nude color.
7. Super Woman
Naturally, Hudson would break out a dazzling white gown at the 2014 Academy Awards. The cleavage-bearing cut instantly elevates the dress to the next level. Think of Oscars Kate Hudson as a chic superhero, sans cape but with equally mighty shoulder pads.
While the latest Harper's Bazaar gown might be one of my personal favorite look of Hudson's, I can't say it's an easy decision with all of her fashion wins.
