When it comes to wild out-of-the-box hairstyles, you may thought you've seen it all. Well, think again, because Rose McGowan debuted a buzz cut recently, and I think it's safe to say that no one saw this coming. We haven't seen a celeb hair transformation this drastic since Britney Spears shaved her head in 2007, but I think it's about time someone gave us a bold new look to buzz about.
The 42-year-old took to Instagram to unveil her new 'do with a photo captioned, "No hair don't care. Honestly, it's liberating." She didn't stop at a single photo, either. The actress also shared a short clip of herself at the salon while her stylist took a razor to her head. She clearly DGAF, and I envy that kind of attitude.
Needless to say a shaved head is not exactly an easy look to pull off. McGowan does just that, though, and I'm not really surprised. She would look gorgeous no matter what kind of look she rocks.
The Charmed star is totally a wildcard when it comes to hair. She has had pretty much had every cut and color in the book, ranging from ultra long red locks all the way to a jet black pixie.
Take a look at her bold new style.
Here's the video of all the action.
Let's take a look at six other celebs who rocked a shaved head in the past, shall we?
1. Natalie Portman
The actress underwent this transformation for her role in V For Vendetta and looked so freaking beautiful.
2. Tallulah Willis
Like mother like daughter. Willis' mom, Demi Moore, shaved her head way back when she starred in G.I. Jane.
3. Charlize Theron
Theron looked so badass with a buzz cut in her Max Mad: Fury Road role.
4. Anne Hathaway
Hathaway chopped off her famous long brown locks for Les Misérables.
5. Natalie Dormer
Dormer may not have shaved her entire head, but I think half-shaved makes an even bigger statement.
6. Kellie Pickler
The country singer once shaved her head to support a friend battling breast cancer.
