Sia Shares Why She Always Wears A Wig

by Caitlyn Callegari

I'm not going to lie to you guys, Sia's face-covering wig was always something I just went with because it seemed to be her "thing" and who am I to judge? But that doesn't mean I understood it. Mostly, I just didn't get how she saw through that thing. Anyway, Sia went on The Ellen Degeneres Show on Tuesday and explained the reasoning behind the wig, and it's actually quite smart and hilarious. Also in the clip below, Sia prepares to take the wig off and show her face to DeGeneres' audience and the audience at home, but you'll have to watch the show to see the full unveiling.

Cheap tricks in the form of an enticing teaser aside, the clip really is worth watching. Sia is a ball of laughs and sunshine, and her bubbly attitude makes her wig defense all the more endearing. She explains to Degeneres that she wears the wig so that she can...

Go to Target and buy a hose if I want to. Or, if I'm in need of a restroom and I can't find one, I could go by the side of the road and nobody would be following me with a camera trying to get "the shot."

It all seems a lot more logical now, doesn't it? To tide you over until you can see Sia show herself on Ellen, here are six pictures of her without her wig:

So, now that you've seen various angles of her face, you can properly identify her in a lineup. You know, if you ever needed to.

Sia and Ellen, I love you, but we're way ahead of ya. Doesn't mean that I'm not going to watch her remove the wig with baited breath, though. Bring it!
