Nicole Raps With Kris Jenner. For Reals.

by Lia Beck

Sometimes, when they don't have anything else going on, Nicole Richie and Kris Jenner like to get together for a rap session. It might sound weird, but I guess they find it cathartic. A nice, relaxing duet of "Shoop" by Salt-N-Pepa can really calm the nerves after a long day. Alright, I don't really know why they did this, but Jenner and Richie really did attempt to rap "Shoop" together and Kim Kardashian uploaded it to Keek in a video titled "My Fave New Rap Group."

Kardashian obviously knows that a such a strange combination like her mom, her old friend Nicole Richie, and a Salt-N-Pepa song is exactly the type of thing people are going to end up watching (even if they think they don't want to), and she seems to enjoy the weirdness of it herself. Kardashian can be heard laughing pretty loudly over her friend and mother rapping an early 90s hit together the same way anyone would if their friend and mother were rapping an early 90s hit together. I mean, just imagine one of your friends plus your mom plus, like, "Whoomp! (There It Is)." It's really funny.

Richie and Jenner start off strong. Richie asks, "Girls, what's my weakness?" and Jenner shouts, "Men!" They have the "Here I go, here I go, here I go again" part down too, but they lose steam fairly quickly. Their sideways caps and dance moves couldn't save them for long and after about ten seconds they forget the lyrics and never pull it together again.

The video actually is pretty cute. You'll find yourself smiling by the end and then you'll realize your smiling and quickly stop, being sure to look around and make sure no one saw you.
