The Golden Globe nominations are out, which can help serve as a handy "what-to-watch" guide for the end of 2015, whether you're going out to the movies or staying at home for a quiet night of catching up on the year's best entertainment. While most of the film nominees are still in theaters or have yet to come out, many of the Golden Globe television nominees can be streamed on different platforms. From fan-favorites you've likely already seen like Orange Is The New Black to indie films you may have missed like Ex Machina, there's enough Golden Globe-nominated content available on Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime to keep you satiated until you can go see The Revenant in theaters.
Some currently running series only have limited availability, including The CW's Best Actress-nominated series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Jane The Virgin, whose five most recent episodes are available for streaming on Hulu. Most television series, however, are available in their entirety. This is unsurprising, considering that a large portion of the nominees originated on streaming platforms in the first place! Here's a guide to catching up on as many Golden Globe nominated films and television series as possible, along with their nominations, before the winners are revealed on Jan. 10.
