Demi Lovator Wears Cropped Holiday Sweater That You Can DIY In A Pinch — PHOTOS

The ugly sweater has been around for many a decade, but each year someone comes along and makes it just a little more stylish. Demi Lovato made her Christmas sweater into a crop top for her Jingle Ball performance, and it's the perfect fix if you're feeling a bit too frumpy in your holiday topper. With just a sweater and a pair of scissors, you too can give your classically tacky sweater a modern twist.

It seems like everyone this year is looking to completely transform the ugly Christmas sweater. Drake holiday sweaters craze, Justin Bieber holiday sweaters, general pop culture holiday sweaters, and now cropped holiday sweaters! The Jingle Ball concert was held in Florida, so it only makes sense that Lovato would snip her sweater for some extra ventilation and make it more warm-weather appropriate, but I don't think anyone was expecting it to look so good!

The singer kept it cool for the winter (get it?!) in the red cropped holiday sweater (it lights up too!) high-waisted short shorts, and a pair of fishnet stockings to top it all off. With minimal jewelry and heavy eye makeup, her look was just edgy enough to capture her personality while being perfect for the occasion.
