Even though she didn't drop a surprise album or a new music video (more on that later), Taylor Swift dressed up as an elf for Christmas and it's seriously the present that her fans deserve. The singer posted a photo of her in a festive costume on Christmas Eve along with a caption that pays tribute to one of the year's best songs: Drake's "Hotline Bling." Keep doing you, Tay!
"You used to call me on my elf phone," Swift said. She's dressed up head-to-toe like an elf, and whether she's going to wear that to dinner tonight or just to lounge around their beautiful home, the outfit is super festive and also looks very comfortable. It also reminds me of the time that Swift dressed up as a "pegacorn" for Halloween last year or pretty much every time she did something adorably nerdy.
The day before, the singer and her boyfriend Calvin Harris built a snowman along with her brother Austin. The trio then posed outside in the snow with their creation, which shows Swift wearing a light-up beanie that says "Rude-Olph." Of course, Swift is not just spending the holidays building snowmen and lounging around in an elf costume (not that there's anything wrong with that), but she is also planning to ring in the New Year by premiering her "Out Of The Woods" music video during Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest.
