Here's Who You Need To Watch On New Year's Eve

Christmas is over and now the fun can really begin with New Year's Eve. Whether you've got high expectations for a night out on the town or are planning on a low-key night with friends, there's one amazing thing about New Year's Eve that will never let you down: the specials. This year, the performers set for New Year's Eve specials are bigger than ever, meaning even if your plans go south by 10 p.m., you can still run home and watch One Direction perform before they go on a hiatus. Not that I'm hoping your New Year's Eve plans go awry, but I've created a New Year's Eve lineup of all the performers, just in case.

There are a few channels that have forgone specials this year, so don't count on any surprise musical guests in an hours-long marathon of Ridiculousness on MTV. (If you're up at midnight, you can tune-in to MTV to see a teaser of the new season of Teen Wolf.) But, let's get to the good stuff— the performers that are going to celebrate 2015 with us, and share their talent for all to see.

So who is on the lineup for this year's New Year's Eve specials?

ABC: Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve

ABC and Ryan Seacrest have possibly the biggest lineup scheduled for the evening with an estimated 38 performances throughout the entire night (starting at 8 p.m. ET). In addition to premiering Taylor Swift's music video for "Out of the Woods," Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve is combining with Billboard's Hollywood Party (hosted by Fergie) to bring you the following performances from Los Angeles:

  • One Direction
  • 5 Seconds of Summer
  • Alessia Cara
  • DNCE
  • Fall Out Boy
  • Andy Grammar
  • Ellie Goulding
  • Nick Jonas
  • Elle King
  • Tove Lo
  • Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
  • OMI
  • Pentatonix
  • Rachel Platten
  • Nathan Sykes
  • WALK THE MOON

In New York, Ryan Seacrest welcomes the following performers to Times Square:

  • Carrie Underwood
  • Luke Bryan
  • Demi Lovato
  • Wiz Khalifa (feat. Charlie Puth)

NBC: New Year's Eve with Carson Daly

Starting at 10 p.m. ET, NBC's host Carson Daly is ringing in the New Year with a Voice judge. A live version of New Year’s Eve Game Night With Andy Cohen will premiere in the early portion of the night, with Daly taking over after at 11:30 p.m. with co-host and performer Gwen Stefani. Now we just get to speculate if Blake Shelton will be in the wings for a ~special~ duet.

FOX: Pitbull's New Year's Revolution

Pittbull has a really stacked lineup in Miami on FOX. Here's who is joining Mr. Worldwide in the 305, beginning at 8 p.m. ET:

  • Pitbull
  • Diddy
  • Timbaland
  • Empire's Yazz The Greatest
  • Empire's Jussie Smollett
  • Shawn Mendes
  • Camila Cabello
  • Prince Royce
  • Austin Mahone
  • R. City
  • Pia Mia
  • Yandel
  • Earth, Wind & Fire

Nickelodeon: TeenNick Top 10 New year's Eve 2015 Special

Plot twist: Nickelodeon has some performers for you to enjoy this year starting at 8 p.m. ET. Now is the time to get your final Whip/Nae Nae moves in before the new year — or maybe just leave them in 2015. Your call. Here are the performers TeenNick Top 10 will feature:

  • Silentó
  • Dawin
  • Conrad Sewell
  • Amanda Dilks

CNN: CNN New Year's Eve Special

Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper aren't necessarily known for their musical talents, but they're entertaining. Ring in 2016 with them at 9 p.m. ET.

The takeaway? There are a hell of a lot of performances to see this New Year's Eve. Maybe just staying in with a personal pizza (any pizza is personal if you believe in yourself) and music is the way to go.
